Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely processing of all vendor and supplier payments. This position requires attention to detail, proactive thinker and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process for corporate expenses, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, approvals, and payments
  • Maintain and improve AP policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure proper documentation
  • Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, payment terms, and issue resolution
  • Assist in expense reporting and corporate credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and reporting
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to support audits and compliance requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline AP operations

Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience, in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes in a retail environment, controls, and accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work crossfunctionally
